Affordable Housing

Affordable housing is a scheme whereby new homes are sold at a reduced price to people who cannot afford to buy a property on their own. Tralee Town Council one mid terraced house remaining at €140,000. The Affordable Housing Scheme provides for the building of new houses in areas where house prices have created an affordability gap for lower income purchasers.  The houses will be offered for sale to eligible purchasers at cost price, and, accordingly at a significant discount from the market value of comparable housing in the area
