Housing Maintenance & Repair

If you are a tenant in a Tralee Town Council home on which you pay rent, the following repairs will be carried out by us:
• structural repairs
• roof repairs
• repairs to external walls
• electrical upgrades

As a tenant you are responsible for certain repairs to your home such as:
• redecoration of your home
• the upkeep of the garden
• replacement of broken glass, letterboxes etc,
• general maintenance – chimney cleaning, cleaning of chutes and downpipes
• Servicing of oil and solid fuel heating systems.
• Repairs to bathrooms, kitchens and internal doors.

We will only carry out repairs if your rent account is up to date.
